Remote attackers can exploit this by flooding the devices with ICMPv4 Port Unreachable packets, leading to high CPU consumption and service disruption. Rated with a CVSS score of 7.5 (HIGH), this vulnerability is easily exploitable over the network with low attack complexity and no user interaction required, resulting in a complete loss of availability. There is currently no evidence of active exploitation, nor is public exploit code available in Metasploit, Nuclei, or ExploitDB, and it has received minimal community discussion or media coverage.
