21
FAUCET Score

CVE-2016-10030 describes a vulnerability in the _prolog_error function of the slurmd daemon in Slurm versions prior to 15.08.13, 16.05.7, and 17.02.0-pre4. This flaw allows an authenticated user to potentially gain control of an arbitrary file on the system by causing a Prolog script to fail. Rated 8.1 HIGH (CVSS:3.0/AV:N/AC:H/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H), the attack requires high attack complexity due to the dependency on anticipating or causing a Prolog script failure. There is no known active exploitation, public exploit code (Metasploit, Nuclei, ExploitDB), or significant community discussion or media coverage surrounding this vulnerability.
