CVE-2016-0278 describes a heap-based buffer overflow in the KeyView PDF filter within IBM Domino versions 8.5.x and 9.x. This vulnerability allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code by tricking a user into opening a specially crafted PDF document. With a CVSS score of 7.8 (High), successful exploitation could lead to complete compromise of confidentiality, integrity, and availability on the affected system. Despite its high severity, there is currently no public exploit code available, no evidence of active exploitation, and minimal community discussion or media coverage.
