CVE-2015-8990

CVE-2015-8990 describes a detection bypass vulnerability in Intel Security Advanced Threat Defense (ATD) versions 3.4.6 and earlier, allowing malware to evade detection by simply renaming the malicious file. With a CVSS v3 score of 7.5 (HIGH), this vulnerability is easily exploitable over the network with low attack complexity, potentially leading to high integrity impact by allowing malware to execute undetected.
