CVE-2015-5292 describes a memory leak in the Privilege Attribute Certificate (PAC) responder plugin of System Security Services Daemon (SSSD) versions 1.10 through 1.13.0, affecting Fedora Project SSSD. This vulnerability allows remote authenticated users to cause a denial of service through excessive memory consumption by triggering PAC blob parsing during numerous Kerberos authentications. The vulnerability has a CVSS score of 6.8 (High), indicating a network-based attack with low complexity leading to complete availability impact.
