CVE-2015-4951 describes a denial-of-service vulnerability in the Client Acceptor Daemon (CAD) of IBM Spectrum Protect (formerly Tivoli Storage Manager) versions 5.5, 6.x before 6.3.2.5, 6.4 before 6.4.3.1, and 7.1 before 7.1.3. This flaw allows remote attackers to crash the daemon by sending a specially crafted Web client URL. Rated with a CVSS score of 5.3 (MEDIUM), the vulnerability has a low attack complexity and requires no user interaction, leading to a denial of service.
