CVE-2015-3280 describes a denial-of-service vulnerability in OpenStack Compute (nova) versions prior to 2014.2.4 (juno) and 2015.1.2 (kilo). Authenticated remote users can exploit this flaw by deleting instances while they are in a resize state, leading to unpurged disk resources and eventual disk exhaustion on compute nodes. With a CVSS score of 6.8 (medium severity), this vulnerability has a low attack complexity and requires authentication, but can result in a complete loss of availability.
