CVE-2015-1253 describes a Same-Origin Policy bypass vulnerability in the DOM implementation of Blink, affecting Google Chrome before version 43.0.2357.65 and related Debian distributions. This flaw allows remote attackers to execute crafted JavaScript code that manipulates SCRIPT elements, thereby circumventing security restrictions. Rated with a CVSS score of 7.5, this vulnerability is considered highly severe, requiring no authentication and having low attack complexity (AV:N/AC:L/Au:N). Successful exploitation could lead to partial compromise of confidentiality, integrity, and availability (C:P/I:P/A:P).
