CVE-2015-0725 describes a denial-of-service vulnerability affecting Cisco Videoscape Distribution Suite Service Broker (VDS-SB) when configured with VDSM on UCS, and Videoscape Distribution Suite for Internet Streaming (VDS-IS/CDS-IS) versions prior to 3.3.1 R7 and 4.0.0 R4. This flaw allows remote, unauthenticated attackers to trigger a device reload by sending a specially crafted HTTP request. With a CVSS score of 7.8 (High), the vulnerability is easily exploitable over the network with low complexity, leading to a complete loss of availability. While there is no evidence of active exploitation, public exploit code (Metasploit, Nuclei, ExploitDB) is unavailable, and community discussion and media coverage are minimal.
