CVE-2014-2171 describes a critical heap-based buffer overflow vulnerability in Cisco TelePresence TC Software versions 4.x through 6.x before 6.0.1 and TE Software 4.x and 6.0.x before 6.0.2. This flaw allows unauthenticated remote attackers to execute arbitrary code by sending specially crafted SIP packets to affected devices. With a CVSS score of 10.0, this vulnerability poses a severe risk due to its network-based attack vector, low attack complexity, and complete compromise of confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
