CVE-2014-1487 describes a Same Origin Policy bypass vulnerability in the Web workers implementation of Mozilla Firefox (before 27.0), Firefox ESR (before 24.3), Thunderbird (before 24.3), and SeaMonkey (before 2.24), as well as various Linux distributions. This high-severity vulnerability (CVSS 7.5) allows remote attackers to obtain sensitive authentication information through specially crafted error messages.
