CVE-2013-5559 describes a buffer overflow vulnerability within the Active Template Library (ATL) framework of the VPNAPI COM module in Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client 2.x. This flaw allows user-assisted remote attackers to execute arbitrary code through a specially crafted HTML document. With a CVSS score of 6.8 (Medium), exploitation requires user interaction and could lead to partial confidentiality, integrity, and availability compromise.
