CVE-2013-4149 describes a buffer overflow vulnerability in the virtio_net_load function of QEMU versions 1.3.0 through 1.7.1. This flaw allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code by supplying a large MAC table. With a CVSS score of 7.5, it is considered highly severe, enabling network-based attacks with low complexity and potential for partial confidentiality, integrity, and availability compromise.
