CVE-2013-2888 describes multiple array index errors in the Human Interface Device (HID) subsystem of the Linux kernel (through version 3.11). This vulnerability allows physically proximate attackers to execute arbitrary code or cause a denial of service through heap memory corruption via a specially crafted device providing an invalid Report ID. With a CVSS score of 6.2, this vulnerability has a local attack vector and high attack complexity, but can lead to complete confidentiality, integrity, and availability compromise.
