CVE-2013-1595 describes a critical buffer overflow vulnerability in Vivotek PT7135 IP Camera firmware versions 0300a and 0400a. This flaw allows a remote, unauthenticated attacker to execute arbitrary code or trigger a denial of service by sending a specially crafted packet to the RTSP service's Authorization header. With a CVSS score of 9.8 (Critical), the vulnerability is easily exploitable over the network with no user interaction required, leading to complete compromise of confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
