This flaw allows unauthenticated remote attackers to trigger a denial of service by sending specially crafted POST requests, causing the daemon to hang. With a CVSS score of 7.8 (High), this vulnerability is easily exploitable over the network with low attack complexity, leading to a complete loss of availability for affected systems.
