CVE-2012-5375

CVE-2012-5375 describes a denial-of-service vulnerability in the Btrfs file system's CRC32C feature within the Linux kernel before version 3.8-rc1. A local attacker can exploit this by creating a specially named file in a victim's important directory, leading to the prevention of further file creation.
