CVE-2012-1946 is a use-after-free vulnerability in the nsINode::ReplaceOrInsertBefore function affecting Mozilla Firefox 4.x-12.0, Firefox ESR 10.x before 10.0.5, Thunderbird 5.0-12.0, Thunderbird ESR 10.x before 10.0.5, and SeaMonkey before 2.10. This critical vulnerability, with a CVSS score of 9.3, allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code through specially crafted document changes. While the attack complexity is medium, successful exploitation could lead to complete compromise of confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
