CVE-2012-0803 describes a critical authentication bypass vulnerability in Apache CXF versions 2.4.5 and 2.5.1. Attackers can exploit this flaw by sending an empty UsernameToken within a SOAP request, circumventing the WS-SP UsernameToken policy. With a CVSS score of 9.8, this vulnerability is easily exploitable over the network with no user interaction, leading to complete compromise of confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
