CVE-2011-4566 is an integer overflow vulnerability in the PHP exif extension (exif.c, exif_process_IFD_TAG function) affecting PHP 5.4.0beta2 on 32-bit platforms, as well as various Canonical and Debian Linux distributions. This flaw allows remote attackers to read arbitrary memory or cause a denial of service by providing a specially crafted EXIF header in a JPEG file. With a CVSS score of 6.4, it is considered a medium-severity vulnerability, requiring no authentication and having low attack complexity (AV:N/AC:L/Au:N).
