CVE-2011-1775 describes a vulnerability in the vncviewer component of TigerVNC 1.1beta1, where the CSecurityTLS::processMsg function fails to properly validate the server's X.509 certificate. This flaw allows man-in-the-middle attackers to spoof a TLS VNC server using any arbitrary certificate. With a CVSS score of 5.8 (medium severity), successful exploitation requires medium attack complexity but could lead to partial confidentiality and integrity compromise.
