CVE-2011-1599 describes a critical vulnerability in the Manager Interface of Asterisk Open Source (versions 1.4.x, 1.6.1.x, 1.6.2.x, 1.8.x) and Asterisk Business Edition C.x.x. This flaw allows authenticated attackers to execute arbitrary commands by bypassing privilege checks when using an Originate action with specific headers. With a CVSS score of 9.0, this vulnerability is highly severe, enabling complete compromise of confidentiality, integrity, and availability with low attack complexity.
