CVE-2010-4267 describes a stack-based buffer overflow in the hpmud_get_pml function within Hewlett-Packard Linux Imaging and Printing (HPLIP) versions 1.6.7, 3.9.8, and 3.10.9, as well as potentially other versions. This vulnerability allows remote attackers to trigger a denial of service or potentially execute arbitrary code by sending a crafted SNMP response with an oversized length value.
