CVE-2010-3984 describes a buffer overflow vulnerability in the mng_core_com.dll component of several CA XOsoft and CA ARCserve Replication and High Availability products. This flaw allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code by sending a specially crafted SOAP request to the xosoapapi.asmx endpoint. With a CVSS score of 7.5, this vulnerability is considered highly severe due to its network-based attack vector, low attack complexity, and potential for complete compromise of confidentiality, integrity, and availability. There is currently no evidence of active exploitation, nor are there publicly available exploit modules or significant community discussion surrounding this CVE.
