CVE-2010-1777 describes a critical buffer overflow vulnerability in Apple iTunes versions prior to 9.2.1, impacting users on macOS and various Windows operating systems. This flaw allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code or trigger a denial of service by enticing a user to click a specially crafted itpc: URL.
