CVE-2009-0012 is a critical heap-based buffer overflow vulnerability in CoreText affecting Apple Mac OS X 10.5.6 and Mac OS X Server. This flaw allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code by supplying a specially crafted Unicode string. With a CVSS score of 10.0, it represents a severe risk due to its network-based attack vector, low attack complexity, and complete compromise of confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
