CVE-2008-6591

15
FAUCET Score

CVE-2008-6591 describes a critical arbitrary file creation vulnerability in LightNEasy "no database" (flat) version 1.2.2 and potentially the SQLite version 1.2.2. This flaw allows unauthenticated remote attackers to create arbitrary files on the server by manipulating the 'page' parameter in index.php and LightNEasy.php. With a CVSS score of 5.0 (AV:N/AC:L/Au:N/C:N/I:P/A:N), it is easily exploitable over the network with low complexity and no authentication, leading to potential data integrity issues. Despite its age and ease of exploitation, there is no evidence of active exploitation, public exploit code (Metasploit, Nuclei, ExploitDB), or significant community discussion or media coverage.
