CVE-2008-4019 is an integer overflow vulnerability in the REPT function of various Microsoft Excel and Office products, including Excel 2000-2007, Excel Viewer, and Office Compatibility Pack. This critical flaw allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code by enticing a user to open a specially crafted Excel file containing a malicious formula. With a CVSS score of 9.3, it presents a severe risk due to its network-based attack vector, low attack complexity, and complete compromise of confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
