CVE-2008-1745 describes a denial-of-service vulnerability affecting Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM) versions 5.x before 5.1(2) and 6.x before 6.1(1). This flaw allows unauthenticated remote attackers to disrupt service by sending a specially crafted SIP JOIN message containing a malformed header. With a CVSS score of 7.8 (High), this vulnerability is easily exploitable over the network with low attack complexity, leading to a complete loss of availability for the affected CUCM system.
