CVE-2007-6244

26
FAUCET Score

CVE-2007-6244 describes multiple cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerabilities in Adobe Flash Player versions 9.x up to 9.0.48.0 and 8.x up to 8.0.35.0. These flaws allow remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML through specially crafted SWF files utilizing the asfunction: protocol or via the navigateToURL function when Flash Player's ActiveX Control is used in Internet Explorer. With a CVSS score of 4.3, this vulnerability has a network attack vector and medium attack complexity, potentially leading to information disclosure (partial integrity impact) without requiring authentication. While not listed on CISA's KEV catalog, exploit code for both XSS methods is publicly available on ExploitDB, though there is no evidence of active exploitation, Metasploit modules, or significant community discussion.
