CVE-2007-3954 describes an argument injection vulnerability in Microsoft Internet Explorer when SeaMonkey is also installed and certain URIs are registered. This flaw allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands and conduct cross-browser scripting attacks by injecting shell metacharacters into a mailto URI, which are then used in the command line when invoking SeaMonkey.exe. With a CVSS score of 4.3, this vulnerability has a network attack vector and medium attack complexity, potentially leading to partial integrity impact.
