35
FAUCET Score

CVE-2007-2149 affects Stephen Craton Chatness 2.5.3 and earlier, where it stores usernames and unencrypted passwords in easily accessible files (classes/vars.php and classes/varstuff.php) with insecure recommended permissions. This critical vulnerability (CVSS 10.0) allows local users to gain privileges by reading these files, and remote attackers to obtain credentials via a direct request to admin/options.php. While not listed in CISA's KEV catalog, public exploit code for remote code execution exists on ExploitDB, though there is no evidence of active exploitation or significant community discussion.
