CVE-2007-1883

CVE-2007-1883 describes a vulnerability in PHP versions 4.0.0 through 4.4.6 and 5.0.0 through 5.2.1, where context-dependent attackers can read arbitrary memory locations. This is achieved by an interruption that triggers a user-space error handler, which then modifies a parameter to an arbitrary pointer, exemplified by the iptcembed function. With a CVSS score of 7.8 (High), this vulnerability has a network attack vector and low attack complexity, potentially leading to complete confidentiality impact.
