CVE-2007-0034 describes a critical buffer overflow vulnerability in the Advanced Search (Finder.exe) feature of Microsoft Outlook 2000, 2002, and 2003. This flaw allows user-assisted remote attackers to execute arbitrary code by enticing a user to open a specially crafted Outlook Saved Searches (OSS) file, leading to memory corruption. With a CVSS score of 9.3, this vulnerability is highly severe, requiring medium attack complexity but granting complete confidentiality, integrity, and availability impact.
