CVE-2006-4013 describes multiple directory traversal vulnerabilities in Symantec Brightmail AntiSpam (SBAS) versions prior to 6.0.4. When the Control Center is configured to allow connections from any computer, remote attackers can exploit these flaws by injecting directory traversal sequences into DATABLOB-GET and DATABLOB-SAVE requests. This allows for critical impact, enabling unauthorized reading and overwriting of arbitrary files, as reflected by its CVSS score of 7.6 (AV:N/AC:H/Au:N/C:C/I:C/A:C). Despite its high severity, there is no evidence of active exploitation, public exploit code (Metasploit, Nuclei, ExploitDB), or significant community discussion or media coverage.
