CVE-2006-1368 describes a critical buffer overflow vulnerability in the USB Gadget RNDIS implementation of the Linux kernel, affecting versions prior to 2.6.16. This flaw allows remote attackers to trigger a denial of service by corrupting kernel memory through a specially crafted NDIS response. With a CVSS score of 10.0, this vulnerability is highly severe, enabling unauthenticated remote attackers to achieve complete compromise of confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
