CVE-2006-0328 describes a format string vulnerability in Tftpd32 version 2.81, allowing remote attackers to trigger a denial of service. By injecting format string specifiers into a filename during a GET or SEND request, an unauthenticated attacker can crash the server. While not actively exploited in the wild, proof-of-concept exploit code is publicly available, and the vulnerability has a high FAUCET Risk Score despite low community discussion and media coverage.
