CVE-2005-4352 describes a vulnerability in the securelevels implementation of NetBSD 2.1 and earlier, and Linux 2.6.15 and earlier, allowing local users to bypass time setting restrictions. By manipulating the system clock to the maximum Unix time, causing it to wrap around to the minimum, an attacker could then set the clock to an arbitrary desired time. This vulnerability has a low CVSS score of 2.1 (AV:L/AC:L/Au:N/C:N/I:P/A:N), indicating local access, low attack complexity, and a potential impact limited to information integrity. There is no evidence of active exploitation, public exploit code (Metasploit, Nuclei, ExploitDB), or significant community discussion or media coverage surrounding this CVE.
