CVE-2004-0038 describes a critical vulnerability in McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator (ePO) versions 2.5.1 Patch 13 and 3.0 SP2a Patch 3. This flaw permits unauthenticated remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands by sending specially crafted HTTP POST requests to the spipe/file handler on ePO TCP port 81. With a CVSS score of 7.5, this vulnerability is highly severe, allowing for complete compromise of confidentiality, integrity, and availability with low attack complexity.
