CVE-2003-0634

CVE-2003-0634 describes a stack-based buffer overflow in the PL/SQL EXTPROC functionality of Oracle9i Database Releases 1 and 2, and Oracle 8i. This vulnerability allows authenticated database users, and potentially arbitrary users, to execute arbitrary code by supplying an excessively long library name. With a CVSS score of 7.5, it is considered highly severe due to its network-based attack vector and low attack complexity, potentially leading to full compromise (confidentiality, integrity, and availability). Despite its age and severity, there is no evidence of active exploitation, public exploit code (Metasploit, Nuclei, ExploitDB), or significant community discussion or media coverage.
