20
FAUCET Score

CVE-2003-0616 describes a format string vulnerability in the ePO service of McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator versions 2.0, 2.5, and 2.5.1. This flaw allows unauthenticated remote attackers to execute arbitrary code by sending a POST request containing format strings in the computerlist parameter, which are then processed during failed name resolution logging. With a CVSS score of 7.5, this vulnerability is considered highly severe due to its network-based attack vector, low attack complexity, and potential for complete compromise of confidentiality, integrity, and availability. There is no evidence of active exploitation, public exploit code (Metasploit, Nuclei, ExploitDB), or significant community discussion or media coverage surrounding this older vulnerability.
