21
FAUCET Score

CVE-2002-1365 describes a heap-based buffer overflow in Fetchmail 6.1.3 and earlier versions. This vulnerability arises from improper handling of the "@" character when calculating buffer lengths for local addresses, allowing remote attackers to execute arbitrary code. With a CVSS score of 7.5, it is considered highly severe, requiring no authentication and having a low attack complexity, potentially leading to full compromise of confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
