29
FAUCET Score

CVE-2002-0777 describes a critical buffer overflow vulnerability in the LDAP component of Ipswitch IMail 7.1 and earlier versions. This flaw allows unauthenticated remote attackers to execute arbitrary code by supplying an excessively long "bind DN" parameter. With a CVSS score of 10.0, this vulnerability presents a severe risk due to its network-based attack vector, low attack complexity, and complete compromise of confidentiality, integrity, and availability. Despite its high severity and EPSS score, there is no evidence of active exploitation, publicly available exploit code in Metasploit or ExploitDB, or significant community discussion or media coverage.
