CVE-2001-1130 describes a critical arbitrary command execution vulnerability in Sdbsearch.cgi within SuSE Linux versions 6.0 through 7.2. Attackers can exploit this by uploading a specially crafted keylist.txt file containing shell metacharacters and then manipulating the HTTP referer to point to the directory where the file is stored, triggering command execution during a search operation. With a CVSS score of 7.5 (High), this vulnerability is easily exploitable over the network without authentication, allowing for partial confidentiality, integrity, and availability impact.
