CVE-1999-1574

CVE-1999-1574 describes a buffer overflow vulnerability in the lex routines of nslookup on IBM AIX 4.3. This flaw allows attackers to cause a denial of service (core dump) and potentially execute arbitrary code by supplying excessively long input strings.
