CVE-2026-5212 is a high-severity stack-based buffer overflow (CVSS 8.8) affecting numerous D-Link DNS and DNR series network-attached storage devices up to firmware version 20260205. The vulnerability, located in the Webdav_Upload_File function of /cgi-bin/webdav_mgr.cgi, allows a remote attacker with low privileges to trigger the overflow by manipulating the 'f_file' argument. This low-complexity attack can lead to high impact on confidentiality, integrity, and availability, potentially resulting in remote code execution.
