CVE-2026-33533 affects Glances XML-RPC server versions prior to 4.5.3, where a misconfiguration in CORS headers and lack of Content-Type validation allows for data exfiltration. This high-severity vulnerability (CVSS 7.1) permits an attacker, via a malicious webpage, to trigger a CORS simple request to the server. This enables complete exfiltration of sensitive system monitoring data, including host details, resource usage, and process information that may contain credentials. There is currently no evidence of active exploitation, nor are public exploit codes or significant community discussion available for this vulnerability.
