CVE-2026-33283 impacts Ella Core versions prior to 1.6.0, a 5G core solution for private networks. The vulnerability allows an unauthenticated attacker to trigger a denial-of-service condition by sending specially crafted UL NAS Transport NAS messages that lack a Request Type. This causes the Ella Core process to panic and crash, resulting in service disruption for all connected subscribers. Rated with a CVSS score of 7.5 (High), the attack requires no authentication and has a low attack complexity.
