CVE-2026-3277 describes a vulnerability in PowerShell Universal versions prior to 2026.1.3, where the OpenID Connect (OIDC) client secret is stored in cleartext within the .universal/authentication.ps1 script. This medium-severity flaw (CVSS 6.5) allows an attacker with low privileges and read access to the file to remotely obtain sensitive OIDC client credentials, resulting in a high confidentiality impact. Currently, there is no evidence of active exploitation, public exploit code availability, or significant community discussion or media coverage for this vulnerability.
