CVE-2026-32731 details a critical Zip Slip vulnerability (CWE-22) within the `@apostrophecms/import-export` module of ApostropheCMS, affecting versions prior to 3.5.3. This flaw allows an authenticated attacker with "Global Content Modify" permissions to upload a specially crafted `.tar.gz` file through the CMS import UI. By exploiting directory traversal, an attacker can write arbitrary files to any location on the host filesystem accessible by the Node.js process. Rated 9.9 CRITICAL (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:C/C:H/I:H/A:H), this vulnerability poses a severe risk of complete system compromise. There is currently no evidence of active exploitation, public exploit code, or significant community discussion surrounding this issue.
